We are happy to inform that our proposal entitled “Flexible PHY experiments using Remote Radio and cloud processing” was accepted to WiSHFUL 5th Open-Call. The work aims at creating a remote solution for LTE/LTE-A link-level research experimentation based on state-of-the-art LTE PHY Lab Software-as-a-Service, SDR hardware and Unified Programming Interfaces provided by WiSHFUL. The goal is to bring 4G/5G innovation and education for every university / research lab worldwide by providing truly configurable and affordable experimental solutions (5G Toolset).

WiSHFUL stands for Wireless Software and Hardware platforms for Flexible and Unified radio and network control and is a frame project conducted under EU H2020 Programme with objective to lower the barrier for experimentation in view of wireless innovation creation and by increasing the realism of experimentation. WiSHFUL offers open, flexible & adaptive software and hardware platforms for radio control and network protocol development as well as advanced and portable wireless test facilities. The project started on January 1st 2015 and will last for 36 months.
