The typical rollout of any new G starts with macro sites. They provide the coverage and enable basic service availability. Even though we think that future rollouts will by far be denser, coverage macro sites are still in the picture. Therefore we do our best to implement Open RAN benefits into the macro layer. The famous cost savings demonstrated by Rakuten applied to the macro network. Additionally, with highly granularized functionalities and the ability to use any split we are targeting any mixture of computing resources including dedicated and shared. Hence, we expect further cost reductions and as well as site simplification and shortening of the rollout process.
